About Alena

A North Carolina native, Alena is originally from Charlotte and arrived in Western North Carolina to attend college at WCU. She has spent more than 10 years in property management, and grew up with an interest in homes, building, design, and restoration, thanks to her father’s influence as a custom home builder. After owning and operating a landscaping company with 25 employees, she and her general contractor husband now build homes and work on property improvements, while growing their organic farm.

She enjoys being outside, exploring our beautiful area, kayaking, four-wheeling, hunting waterfalls, and scenic drives. Alena and her husband live in Sylva with their two children, and she says her faith and family are the Number One most important things in her life.
